Mercedes CLS Grand Edition - Lots of Designo features
The CLS had a mid-life freshen-up in 2008 to keep it on the ball, and we now see this special edition launched from today – a typical manufacturer response to a model getting near the end of its life – the new CLS, based on the new E-Class, is due next year. Despite its E-Class underpinnings, the CLS has never felt like an E-Class. Its looks are its ace – it is probably the best looking Mercedes for a very long time.
Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. Now, with the kickoff looming, the Korean automaker's loosed its marquee ad, promoting the 2013 Santa Fe, upon the YouTubifying unwashed.
